COMMUNITY HOUSEING AND FOOD RESOURCES

If you have a more immediate housing need, or perhaps are struggling with a landlord/tenant situation, Sandusky County Habitat for Humanity is not equipped at this time to assist with these issues.

However, we have some wonderful community resources which may be of use to you.  Please use them as needed and be well on your journey. 

Great Lakes Community Action Partnership - Utility resources, home repair, childcare, job searches, financial wellness, etc.

Soup kitchen, food pantry, warming center and more.

Public Assistance, PRC program and various other services

Temporary shelter for up to 60 days
Domestic Violence Advocate services

Fair Housing Program for Crawford, Huron, Lucas, Sandusky, Seneca and Wyandot counties.

The Sandusky County Homeless Coalition is to provide a united effort to meet the needs of the homeless and increase independent living opportunities for the homeless population through services, community awareness and education.

Thrift store, food bank, financial assistance, homegoods, etc.

Information regarding many forms of discrimination in housing-related transactions.
